Unique, contemporary, ground floor apartment in 14th Century Convent in the Centro Storico  of Ascoli Piceno.

Ascoli Piceno

Ascoli Piceno is Italy’s best kept secret. First inhabited 5,000 years ago by the Picene tribes, when “Rome was a cow pasture” as the locals like to say, it has one of the best preserved town centres in the country. Much of it is from the 14th Century when our building was completed. The Piazza del Popolo is widely regarded as the finest in Italy. Free from the hordes of expatriates in Tuscany and Umbria, Ascoli retains a true feel for Italian culture, history, food and wine and friendly people.

Ascoli is at the southern end of the Marche Region close the border with Abruzzo. It is 25minutes from the beaches and safe swimming of San Benedetto del Tronto and 50 minutes from skiing in the Sibillini National Park where some of the peaks reach over 2,500 metres. Closer still are some marvellous walks in the wooded areas around the town on well-marked paths.
